Balikbayans celebrates Sinulog with Mandani Bay

Viva Pit Señor!

Cebu’s grandest festival, the Sinulog Festival, is now on its 40th year!

And as developing lifestyle destination, Mandani Bay continues to celebrate the city’s rich and colorful culture for five years already, they welcome our Overseas Filipino Workers with an entertaining cultural show.

Kicking off the Sinulog celebration and the feast of the holy child, Santo Niño, Mandani Bay gathered unique and historic performances from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Balikbayan Night, an hour of various performances accompanied by traditional musical instruments, paying tribute to Pinoys working and living abroad as they come home to Cebu and celebrate Sinulog this year.

Mandani Bay brought local Cebuano talents from Mandaue Science High School and Maharlika Dance Troupe on stage, who portrayed Filipino values of courtship, leadership and teamwork through their dances.

It was indeed a festive night of talents and traditions as guests also joined the performers on stage in a routine dance of the famous Sinulog with the image of the Santo Niño.

To complete the celebration, Mandani Bay prepared a feast of Filipino delicacies and signature dishes highlighting Cebu’s flavors.

Cebuanos are encouraged to join the festivities as Mandani Bay, developed by world-class HT Land Inc. also invites everyone to join their Fluvial Procession viewing.

Have a closer view of the sea-borne salute to the Christ Child, on January 18 at what will soon be the Mandani Bay Boardwalk facing the Mactan Channel.
