MANDAUE CITY, Cebu — A 25-year-old mother was nabbed early today with P7.1 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) by elements of the Subangdaku Police Station of the Mandaue City Police Office.

Crestellie Quiachon, a resident of Barangay Kalunasan in Cebu City, was caught with one kilo and 50 grams of suspected shabu  with a corresponding value of P7, 140,000 in the  drug bust that happened  at around 3 a.m. today, Saturday,  February 1, 2020 at H. Cortes Street, Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

Police Captain Marvin Fegarido, who led the operation, said Quiachon allegedly became a drug courier after her husband was imprisoned at the Cebu City Jail in 2018 over a drug-related case.

He said Quiachon was the person sent out by the supplier to deliver the drugs and receive the payment that she, in turn, would hand to another underling of the supplier in a drug delivery system called “pasa pasa.”

Quiachon, a mother to a five-year-old child, is now held at the Subangdaku police station pending the filing of charges against her./elb
