Cebuana belter Sheryn Regis to mount homecoming concert on Feb. 28

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Did you miss Cebuana singer Sheryn Regis?

The Crystal Voice of Asia is gearing for her homecoming concert entitled “Back To Love” at the Music Museum in San Juan, Metro Manila on February 28, 2020.

“I am back to what I love to do which is singing for my fellow Filipinos,” she told CDN Digital.

She said her fans can expect performances that she does not usually do in her previous shows in the Philippines but did not give additional details since she wants to surprise them on the day of the concert.

“I have been preparing for this concert and I am very very excited,” the Cebuana belter added.

“Back to Love” is directed by Alco Guerrero. Its musical direction is under Ivan Lee Espinosa while in charge of the choreography is Nesh Janiola.

Fans can also expect performances from the King of Philippine Theme Songs, Erik Santos.

Regis is a native of Carcar, Cebu. She made a name in the industry when she placed first runner-up in ABS-CBN’s “Star in a Million” in 2003 where Santos was proclaimed the grand winner.

In 2004, she made the country proud when she joined the Voice of Asia held in Kazakhstan and became a top-two finisher.

Regis is known for her hit songs, “Come in out of the Rain”, “Maybe”, “Sa’yo”, and “Kailan Kaya.” She and her family then moved to Houston, Texas in 2010 where she works as a part-time teacher for a pre-kindergarten and middle school.

She is also one of the hosts in a daytime show called, “Chit Chat Houston” in the local American television channel KUBE 57. /rcg
