About 200 entrepreneurs, businessmen, managers and students are expected to attend a forum on how to build a business presence on the Internet.
The event called “GDay Mandaue or Google Day Mandaue”, organized by Google Business Group (GBG)-Mandaue will be held at the Lakwatsa Resto Lounge on May 10.
Everything in the event is free, from the source materials with lunch buffet, since it’s supported by Google, said Bjornson Bernales, GBG-Mandaue founder and community manager.
The event aims to share with students and entrepreneurs on ways to build a presence on the Web, making their business social, synching with team members using collaborative tools, and advertising on the Web, and many others.
“In this conference, businesses, managers, and marketers can learn relevant tools from Google for use in their businesses in operation, management and marketing,” Bernales said.
Speakers are businessmen who will share their insights and experiences on using Google and Google-supported communities in their businesses.
These include Clifford Enoc of GBG-Mandaue and Massaji Oriental Spa who will share his experience about integrating Google in their businesses.
Aside from the testimonies, participants will also be given tips on how to present their businesses on the Web, propagating the Google tools for business marketing and to get more connections through the Web.
A representative from Google Singapore will also be present in the event.
Google Business Groups are communities of business professionals sharing knowledge about Google web technologies for business success.
GBG-Mandaue is the newest Google-supported business community in Mandaue City made up of managers trained by Google to conduct events, trainings, seminars, and meet-ups for businesses, businessmen, managers, marketers, publishers and Google enthusiasts. /CNU Intern Anie M. Paujana
