A 24-YEAR-OLD man was shot and killed by an unidentified assailant in barangay Inayawan, Cebu City past midnight yesterday.
Police said the killing of Ivan Vincent Baguio could be gang-related.
Police said Baguio had gunshot wounds in the head and body when he was found slumped in a dark area in sitio Lower Torre. The area is a known spot where gang-related troubles erupt.
Police said Baguio was a member of Crips or Bloods gang. The victim’s girlfriend told police that she went out of their house when she noticed Baguio was not around.
The woman said that while looking for Baguio, she saw two suspicious-looking men.
Out of fear, the woman rushed home.
Gunshots later rang out and Baguio was found bathed in his own blood, police said.
