One hurt in vehicular accident at SRP

One person got injured in a vehicular accident involving four vehicles at the viaduct of the South Road Properties (SRP), Tuesday afternoon.

SPO3 Tan Graciano II said a broken multi-cab tried to park on the right side of the south-bound lane of the viaduct just as a sports utility vehicle tried to park on the inner lane.

A Mitsubishi pick-up crashed into the SUV’s rear. The incident caused a domino effect as two more north-bound vehicles including Ford pick-up and Toyota Vios sedan crashed into the Mitsubishi pickup.

The driver of the last vehicle, Junvy Tabonares was brought to the Visayan Community Hospital after he was injured when his car’s airbag blew up. The traffic eased up after the vehicles were moved out of the way.
