Have fresh fruits delivered at your doorstep with homegrown brand FruitDel

Cebu City, Philippines–Fruits are one the best sources of essential vitamins and minerals that our body needs to keep us healthy and full of energy.

If you also want to stay fit with less effort, high-calorie foods can be replaced with fruits that have fewer calories. By adding fruits and vegetables to your balanced diet, chances of weight gain are decreased, thus, minimizing associated health risks such as diabetes or high blood pressure.

If you want to buy some fruits but couldn’t do so because of the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ), why not have some delivered to you at your doorstep?

Cebu now has the most convenient fruit delivery service–FruitDel.

What started as an on call delivery service to coworkers in the BPO industry, FruitDel is now a delivery business that can cater to those in offices and homes who need fresh produce delivered to them.

Established in 2016, FruitDel’s mission has always been to give healthy and fresh produce for all.

FuitDel was born from the idea that not everyone has easy access to healthy food options such as fresh fruits.

When Cebuano Kristoff Villanueva was working for a BPO industry located in one of the business parks here, he noticed that there are only limited healthy food options for workers to choose from during breaks.

Supporting farmers

Kristoff works closely with his cousin, John Lester Sanoria-Gabasa, and his supportive wife, in the fruit delivery service.

They support local farmers and source 90 percent of their products from different farms in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

As FruitDel’s logo symbolizes every Filipino farmer with his cart full of fruits, they are inspired with the significant hardwork of the farmers for the country.

“We believe in the saying that we need farmers, at least 3 times a day. That is, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.”

FruitDel continues to offer delivery service of quality fruits and products to your home while the community quarantine is still implemented.

They ensure to give the best among their fruit supplies and implement safety measures in handling their products.

FruitDel also follows strict implementation of contactless delivery and practice additional precautionary measures when their customers prefer cash-on-delivery.

They accept online payments via PayPal, credit card, bank transfer, Gcash, PayMaya and cash-on-delivery.

FruitDel delivers to Cebu City, Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, Talisay City, Cordova, and Consolacion.

And to help frontliners on the field and less privileged people, FruitDel gives a kilo of food pack to them for every 50 kilograms of fruits sold as part of their “Fruit for Heroes” campaign. Since March, they have already donated food packs to more than 100 families.

Customers can process their orders via FruitDel’s website. Orders will be received by customers the next day after completion of order form and payment.

“As an entrepreneur, money should not be your driving force. It should be what value you can give to the world that the world is willing to pay for. For me, that is providing fruits right at the convenience of their homes with price a little less than those of the supermarket,” said Kristoff. /bmjo
