A local television host and his alleged paramour are facing charges of concubinage after they were allegedly caught by the host’s wife in a room in Lahug last Sunday.
Cris Nimrod ‘Borgie’ Cabigas, 27, and Kaye Najarro, 25, were charged before the Cebu City Prosecutors’ Office yesterday afternoon.
The two respondents chose not to undergo a preliminary investigation which could have given them a chance to file their counter affidavits.
Cabigas and Najarro posted bail of P10,000 each.
Cabigas’ wife, Mhariet, earlier sought the assistance of the police after she spotted her husband at M3 Building in barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
Cabigas was a former Mr. Cebu and presently hosting a local TV show.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) and her alleged boyfriend, an Indian, were arrested after the husband caught them sleeping together in their house in Lilo-an town Saturday morning.
The husband sought the help of the police who arrested the wife and the foreigner in their house in Rona Subdivision in barangay Cotcot. The two will be charged with adultery.
