HOMEWARD BOUND: 200 Cebu City LSIs en route to Bohol

CEBU CITY, Philippines — The sweeper trips of over 200 locally stranded individuals (LSIs) in Cebu City bound for Bien Unido, Bohol were facilitated by the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and the Philippine Coast Guard in coordination with the Bien Unido Municipal Government on Thursday, August 27, 2020.

Two trips were scheduled for the LSIs for Bien Unido, with the first batch leaving Cebu City at around 6 a.m. Another batch was set to leave at around 2 p.m.

The EOC said the sweeper trips were coordinated by the two local government units with the help of the Coast Guard. The CDR Dan Augusto Cariño of the vessel Suluan carried the passengers.
