MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – Only five of the 21 barangays in Consolacion town continue to have cases of the coronavirus disease as of Sunday, October 11.
The rest of the 16 barangays are now free of the infection, the municipal government announced.
Barangays Jugan and Nangka continue to have three cases each while Lamac, Poblacion Oriental, and Pulpogan have one case each.

As of Sunday, Consolacion already logged a total of 584 confirmed cases of the infection of which only nine remains active. This already includes the new case from Barnagay Nangka, a 32-year-old female resident.
In an advisory, the municipal government also reported seven recoveries on the same day bringing its total recovery count to 539, the reason for the drop of its active cases to only 9 while its death count remains at 36.
