Suspects in Toledo heist charged

A STRING of charges were filed against two men accused of robbing a delivery truck in Toledo City.

Eusebio Piloto and Hadje Piodos were charged with robbery in the Toledo City Prosecutors’ Office. They are also facing separate charges of illegal possession of firearms and possession of illegal drugs before the Cebu Provincial Prosecutors’ Office.

Another case for illegal possession of explosives was filed against Piloto.

When interviewed by the media yesterday, the two men denied the charges filed against them.
Piloto and Piodos were arrested last July 1 after they allegedly robbed a delivery truck in Toledo City.

Taken from Piodos’ possession were a .45 caliber pistol and 6.89 grams of shabu.
The police also confiscated a hand grenade, 7.63 grams of shabu and a .45 caliber pistol from Piloto.
Assistant Provincial Prosecutor Jay Paradiang said possession of over five grams of illegal drugs is a non-bailable offense.
