LAPU-LAPU CITY, Philippines — The Lapu-Lapu City government now only has 38 active cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
On the report prepared by Grace Carungay, head of the City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), said that as of December 13, 2020, 27 of the 38 active cases were in isolation while 11 were admitted in hospitals.

The data also added that from December 7 to 13, 2020, the city has only recorded 10 new cases of the virus.
Four of which were recorded on December 8, five cases on December 10, and one case on December 11.
While on December 7, 9, 12, and 13, the city did not receive any COVID-19 cases.
The data also showed that as of the moment, 15 barangays in the city had no longer recorded any active case of the virus.
These barangays are Marigondon, Buaya, Maribago, Punta Engaño, Suba Basbas, Tingo, San Vicente, Talima, Sta. Rosa, Sabang, Caw-oy, Baring, Tungasan, Pangan-an, and Caohagan./dbs
