CEBU CITY, Philippines—The Land Transportation Office in Central Visayas (LTO-7) has extended the registration of vehicles with license plate numbers ending with the number “2.”
“In view of the continuing enforcement of the nationwide community quarantine and health and safety protocols due to COVID-19 pandemic, it is hereby directed that the validity of registration of motor vehicles with plate numbers ending in ‘2’ is extended,” said LTO-7.
Here is the schedule of the extension:
- For Middle Digits 1,2,3 of Plate Number Ending in 2:
Original Registration Schedule:
Until February 7, 2021
Extend Validity:
Up to February 15, 2021
- For Middle Digits 4,5, 6 of Plate Number Ending in 2:
Original Registration Schedule:
Until February 14, 2021
Extend Validity:
Up to February 22, 2021
- Middle Digits 7,8,9 of Plate Number Ending in 2:
Original Registration Schedule:
Until February 21, 2021
Extend Validity:
Up to February 28, 2021
- For Middle Digits 9 and 0 of Plate Number Ending in 2:
Original Registration Schedule:
Until February 28, 2021
Extend Validity:
Up to March 8, 2021
The LTO-7 urges drivers to take the opportunity of the extension for their vehicles to be registered on time.
Failure to do so may place drivers at risk of being issued a citation ticket or confiscation of licenses when caught traversing the streets with an expired registration.
