CEBU CITY, Philippines— Another Cebuana singer will be heard on nationwide TV once again.
Jehramae Trangia, 17, of Talisay City will be showcasing her singing prowess on Saturday night, February 6, in TV 5’s Born to be a Star.
Trangia who started joining singing competitions at the age of 12, says that to be one of the finalists for Born to be a Star is another treasured achievement in her young career.
And she has an impressive resume to back up her titular bid being the Sinulog Idol Season 11 champion and a finalist of Idol Philippines.
Trangia also graced CDN Digital’s online show “Lockdown: A break from the outbreak” last December 26, 2020.
But to be part of the competition is no walk in the park for Trangia, for she too has faced an ample amount of challenges to be where she is today.
“the most challenging part of the competition is to adjust sa environment kasi po i’m a cebuana and ung mga kasama ko is puro sila tagalog and nahihirapan ako minsan mag speak ng tagalog and minsan na pepressure din ako sa environment. but still, i am thankful that they are so friendly and understanding and minsan tinutulungan din nila ako,” she said.
Show this young Cebuana singer some love as she embarks on a new journey hoping to join the ranks of other Cebuano singing champions and bringing home the bacon to her beloved Cebu. /rcg
