MANDAUE CITY, Cebu – At least 460 individuals remain stranded at the different ports in Central Visayas this Monday morning, February 22, a report from the Philippine Cost Guard (PCG) said.
The stranded individuals include drivers and helpers of trucks that were barred from inter-island travels as a result of Tropical Depression Auring.
As of 4 a.m. on Monday, PCG said that a total of 382 rolling cargoes and 33 vessels were not allowed to leave the different ports in Central Visayas because of the weather disturbance.

Pagasa said that while Auring continues to weaken, Cebu and most parts of the region remain under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1.
In Danao City, trips to and from the city’s port remain suspended.
The Municipality of Sta. Fe also announced on Monday morning that sea travels to and from the municipality remain suspended.
Travels to Kinatarcan and Hilantagaan islets are also prohibited, the town’s advisory reads.
However, government employees will be asked to report to work this Monday.
