MANDAUE CITY, Philippines – The Mandaue City Tourism Office has been receiving tons of inquiries about the easing of requirements for those who will return or visit the city.
Since the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) has lifted some protocols such as travel authority, medical certificate, among others for travelers, the Mandaue City Tourism Office has been flooded with inquiries.
Hazel Tamondong, the city’s tourism officer, said they had an average of 50 to 60 inquiries a day.
She added that their office has already issued 100 letters of confirmation for those who want to visit Mandaue.
Tamondong said they will check details such as the address or hotel bookings in Mandaue when returning or visiting the city before giving a letter of confirmation.
