USC snares elementary, secondary cage titles in Milo Little Olympics

University of San Carlos (USC) seized the championship crowns in both the elementary and secondary division basketball of the 19th Milo Little Olympics Visayas Championships at the Magis Eagles Arena at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) in Canduman, Mandaue City.

First to land a championship title for USC is its elementary division cagers, who blasted the SHS-AdC Magis Eagles in the championship game, 56-49, in a game that the Baby Warriors controlled from start to finish.

The USC-Pasarelle, the school’s secondary division squad, completed USC’s dominance in the basketball event of this annual multisporting meet as it prevailed over the University of the Visayas (UV) Baby Lancers in a hard-fought championship showdown, 58-52.

In the battle for third place, SHS-AdC lambasted the Compostela National High School, 61-42, in the secondary division while the Baby Lancers won over the Cebu Eastern College Dragons, 53-38, for the bronze in the elementary division.
