A worker of the National Food Authority (NFA) was stabbed dead by his neighbor in barangay Pardo Cebu City last Friday night.

Dennis Arcete, 38, was walking in an alley when he was repeatedly stabbed allegedly by Rafael Suico, 40, police said.

Suico, a security guard, fled after the attack.

Police said a personal grudge was the motive behind the attack.

In a separate incident, two brothers stabbed and injured a 34-year-old man in barangay Capitol Site.

Meljun Limatog, 22, and his  brother Dennis, 20,  surrendered to the police after they stabbed Rodulfo Romero Jr.

Police said Romero was about to buy food when the two brothers waylaid him.
