The Cebu Provincial Board (PB) yesterday approved a supplemental budget of P325,888,000, part of which is intended for the Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) incentives that will be given to Capitol workers.

Provincial Budget Officer Danny Rodas said that aside from the CNA for almost 1,500 employees, the budget is also a development fund of P207 million.

The development fund includes allocation for the “construction, rehabilitation, furnishing and maintenance of hospitals and birthing centers, and other buildings.”

Only P23 million from the supplemental budget will be spent on the bonus for Capitol employees as part of the 445th Founding Anniversary celebration of the Province. Rodas added that Capitol workers can have their bonuses by Friday next week.

Rodas said the budget also includes P10 million for a community-based monitoring system, P1.5 million for Coordinating Road and Investment Program, and P3.5 million for the Trans-Axial Highway Development Project.

He added that P21 million of the supplementary budget was sourced from the Capitol’s deal with the KEPCO-Salcon Power Corporation which was terminated last April.
