Dubai-based Abarra added to Pinoy Pride 27 undercard

Larry Abarra is the new addition to the already explosive card of the much awaited Pinoy Pride 27: Duel in Dubai on Sept. 5 at the Dubai World Trade Center in Dubai, UAE.

Abarra, a Filipino boxer from Olongapo City who is now based in Dubai, sports a professional record of two wins, two losses and a draw with his two victories coming by way of knockout.

He will test his skills against Thailand’s Chatpayak Nuengkawkawhok (2-7, 1KO) in the undercard of the first international fight card promoted by the Cebu-based ALA Promotions.

The fight card also features Uganda’s Kizito Deo against Uzbek Anusher Abdullaev and Syrian Mohammad Akram who will fight Thai Kong Windy Sports.

All of the above fights will be fought for four rounds.

The fight card will be spearheaded by ALA Boxing Gym’s undefeated stars Genesis Servania (24-0, 10 KOs) and Arthur Villanueva (25-0, 14 KOs).

Servania will be defending his World Boxing Organization (WBO) Inter-Continental super bantamweight crown against former world title challenger Jose Cabrera (22-4-2, 10 KOs).

Villanueva on the other hand, will duke it out with Nicaraguan Henry Maldonado (18-3, 13 KOs) for the vacant International Boxing Federation (IBF) International super flyweight title.

Boholano Rey “Boom-Boom” Bautista (35-3, 25 KOs) will face Mexican Juan Jose Martinez (19-1, 15 KOs) as the former world title challenger continues to blaze the comeback trail after a short retirement.
