A security guard was found lifeless with his head almost severed yesterday morning inside the construction site in barangay Tabok, Mandaue City where he was detailed
Victim Melchor Pasinabo of Barili, Cebu was an employee of Tactical Security Agency and was assigned to guard a compound rented by Vineyard Construction.
His fellow guard who reported for duty at 6 a.m. yesterday morning discovered his body at the guard house.
Investigation showed that the victim’s head was struck with an iron pipe and his head was slit with a bladed weapon. His service firearm, a 12-gauge shotgun, was missing.
A fellow security guard, Uldarico Calderon, who was detailed at the main gate of the compound said he saw the victim talking to someone who was about 5’7” in height and has medium build at around 11 p.m. Saturday.
