CEBU CITY, Philippines — The station commander of Pardo Police Station confirmed that pro boxer Albert “Prince” Pagara remains detained at their station pending the result of the inquest proceedings.

(We did not receive a release order for Pagara… his case was not downgraded either.)
Pagara was arrested on Wednesday evening, September 1, 2021, in Sitio terra Dulce, Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City where he lives with his live-in partner.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Wilbert Parilla, deputy director for operations of the Cebu City Police Office (CCPO), for his part, said that a rape case was already filed against Pagara last Friday, September 3, and that he also underwent inquest proceeding on the same day before the city prosecutor’s office.
Parilla said that they are waiting for the result of the inquest proceedings to determine if the case against Pagara will be downgraded or not. Should there be strong evidence of rape against Pagara, Parilla said there will be no bail recommended for the boxer.
