FOUR men were arrested in a drug raid in barangay Poblacion, Liloan town, northern Cebu.
Johnadino Laag, 34, was arrested after police found two caliber .22 rifle, a big pack and four sachets of suspected shabu believed to cost P30,000 to P50,000.
Senior Insp. Ramil Morpos, chief of the Liloan Police Station, said they also arrested Laag’s 33-year-old Juanito and Mamerto Uling, 37, whom they allegedly caught throwing two plastic packs believed to be shabu when police arrived.
Shortly after the arrests in barangay Poblacion, police also arrested Stanley Casona, 20, in a buy-bust operation barangay Jubay, Liloan.
Morpos said police monitored Casona was the one who allegedly supplied Johnadino with illegal drugs.
Recovered from Casona’s possession were two medium-size packs of suspected shabu, and a .357 revolver.
Separate drug raids led to the arrests of four men allegedly involved in selling drugs in southern part of Cebu.
Joven Rendal, 52, was arrested in his house in barangay North Poblacion, San Fernando town.
Recovered from Rendal’s house were one medium-size and three sachets of suspected shabu.
Arrested in barangay Canbanua, Argao town was Jonathan Amarillo whose house yielded 19 sachets and one medium-sizeof suspected shabu.
Police also arrested Richard Daug-Daug, 25, and a certain Mark Anthony after they caught trying to buy illegal drugs from Amarillo.
