The defending champions La Salle Green Archers and the Far Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws will be looking to grab a share of the lead in the standings today when they battle separate rivals in the UAAP men’s basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena.

La Salle faces off against the University of the Philippines (UP) Fighting Maroons in the curtain raiser at 2 p.m. while FEU matches wits against the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers at 4 p.m. La Salle and FEU, are carrying identical 6-2 (win-loss) records and are half a game behind the league-leading Ateneo Blue Eagles (7-2).

The Green Archers are expected to cruise past the Maroons, especially after their morale-boosting victory over rivals Ateneo last weekend.
Jeron Teng will be once again the focal point of the offense for the green-clad boys from Taft after tallying 32 points against the Eagles last time out.
