The Cebu Doctors’ University Alumni Association (CDUAA) gives recognition to different individuals exemplary on their line of expertise. This recognition is entitled the 1st Distinguished Alumni wherein the colleges and/or departments nominate person/s that brings pride and fame to Alma Mater, as well as service and outstanding contributions to the society. Honorees will be recognized on the 33rd Grand Alumni Homecoming Fellowship Night with the theme “Different Journeys, One Home, #Throwback@CDU” on August 30 6:30 P.M. South Atrium, Cebu Doctors’ University, Mandaue City.
With this year’s theme, the fellowship night highlights that there may be diversified involvement and career paths of a CDU alumnus, but all are inspired by the Alma Mater and efforts to improve our society in general. Eleven alumni are given acknowledgement to achievement in various fields and professional accomplishments– to name some; medicine, radiology, physical rehabilitation, nursing, education, research, governance and social welfare. The awardees and from their departments are Dr. Arvin Faundo (Medical Technology), Hon. Agnes Magpale & Mrs. Edna Jocelyn Caballero (Graduate School), Atty. Collin Rosell and Sr. Ma. Teresita V. Moreover, three awardees are recognized from the field of Medicine namely Dr. Roberto Pangan, Dr. Filipinas Ricamora Rojo and Dr. Marciano B. Lee.
Awards are valuable in any organization. For CDUAA, these will inspire more alumni and aspiring students for continuous efforts in bringing recognition to Alma Mater and in the future.
