Huawei opens experience lounge in Cebu

Huawei, known for its telecom network infrastructures and pocket wifi devices and now rising fast as the world’s No.3 smartphone brand, continues its aggressive retail expansion in the Philippines by opening its fifth brand shop in Cebu City.

Earlier, the company opened its brand shops in SM North EDSA, SM Megamall, and SM Southmall in Manila and in Ayala Centrio Mall in Cagayan De Oro. More stores are set to open before the year ends.

Operated by local dealer RC Goldline, the Huawei Brand Experience Lounge is located at the Cyberzone Area of SM in Cebu City. Designed to be highly experiential, the store has interactive areas where shoppers can try Huawei devices – 3G/4G LTE smartphones, tablets, and mobile broadband devices, among others – at their own pace.

“The Huawei Brand Experience Lounge further strengthens the retail presence of Huawei and gives Cebuanos an opportunity to avail of the very best of accessible premium devices,” said Charles Wu, Huawei Device Philippines country manager.

Huawei said that their smartphones are optimized to work with Huawei’s 3G and 4G LTE network solutions, which are being used by major telecom companies locally and globally.

“With over 20 years of network experience, our engineers have optimized our phones so it could detect network signal faster and more efficiently and save battery life,” Wu said. “And we want our consumers to enjoy these unique advantages.”

The Huawei Brand Lounge currently highlights the flagship model Ascend P7 – the Best Smartphone 2014-2015 conferred by the European Imaging Sound Association (EISA).
