UC, Daanbantayan tie up for advocacies

Last August 29, the University of Cebu-Maritime Education and Training Center (UC-METC) in partnership with the Redemptorists in the Philippines Congregation signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the Municipality of Daanbantayan -Tominjao Elementary School as partner community.

The Memorandum of Agreement is about building & rehabilitating classrooms in Daanbantayan facilitated and managed by UC-METC/SWAPP Sustainability + Resiliency Office and funded by the Redemptorist in the Philippines

Congregation in response to super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). This activity will address the environmental, health and safety concerns of the partner community and will also serve as community extension program and as a springboard for further research.
