Acting Mayor Edgar Labella said Cebu City is ready for tomorrow’s scheduled transport holiday by the militant transport group Piston.
He said the Cebu City government will deploy 22 Kaohsiung buses to fetch stranded commuters.
The transport rally will start at 9 am beginning at the Department of Energy office at the Escario street, Capitol site and will head to the regional office of the Land Transportation Office at N. Bacalso avenue.
They will later head to the Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) office still along the N. Bacalso avenue.
Piston will ventilate anew their objections to the Joint Administrative Order 2014-01. It is uncertain how long tomorrow’s transport rally will last, but the city government advised those who have classes and work to leave early. Kaoshioung buses will be deployed as early as 5:30 am.
