A businessman was robbed and shot dead while relaxing outside his home in Valencia, Carcar City Friday afternoon.
The robbers took P10,000 cash from Conrado Regis, 54, a hog buyer and also a member of a local anti-organized crime task force.
Regis and his common law wife, Leonila Bation, just came from the market to buy feeds for their livestock.
When they arrived home, Bation went inside the house while Regis sat on a bamboo bench outside their house.
Bation suddenly heard successive gun bursts and when she went outside, she saw Regis already bloodied.
SPO1 Erving Abella of Carcar Police said they are looking into two angles — robbery and personal grudge.
