Around 3,000 people attended the ‘dialogue consultation on infrastructure projects’ with Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr., chairperson of the Senate Committee on Infrastructure for a consultation on projects yesterday.
Marcos said he has been consulting local officials across the country to guide his committee in formulating a long-term national infrastructure plan. Before heading north, the senator spoke in the 888 News Forum.
He said that his committee is finding ways how to evenly distribute public investment in infrastructure throughout the country through the local government units.
The infrastructure plan that his committee is formulating would provide “policy direction” to Malacañang in pushing infrastructure projects for the country, which is very important in economic growth.
Cebu 4th District representative Benhur Salimbangon and Medellin Mayor Ricky Ramirez hosted the senator in northern Cebu.
