A donation box placed beside the image of Mary Help of Christians inside the Tabogon Municipal Hall was reportedly stolen last Wednesday afternoon.
P03 Ronnie Alivio, desk officer of Tabogon Police Station said Jean Orongan, employee of the Tabogon local government, reported to them the disappearance of the donation box.
P03 Epifanio Comedido Jr., investigator of Tabogon Police, said the image arrived in Tabogon by 10 a.m. on Wednesday. By 5 p.m, Comedido Jr. said, Jeffrey Lobitania, purchaser of the municipality of
Tabogon noticed that the donation box placed beside the image was no longer there when he photographed the image.
The turn-over of the image of Mary Help of Christians is an annual rosary crusade sponsored by Balikatan sa Kaunlaran Foundation. It would visit all municipal halls in Cebu Province.
