Toddler found dead in pond

A one-year-old boy was found dead in a pond Friday in barangay Poblacion, Aloguinsan town in southwest Cebu.

P02 Recelieto Kilaton of the Aloguinsan Municipal Police Office said they received a call at around noon alerting them of the suspected drowning incident. He said the victim,  Kent Narvasa, was with hismother, Evelyn who was tending a stall in a nearby fiesta carnival. Police said the child ventured out of the stall as his mother was busy attending to customers. The child was rushed to the Pinamungajan District Hospital where he was declared dead.
