A 27-YEAR-OLD man was stabbed to death by his ex-partner´s lover in sitio Sambag, barangay San Vicente, Liloan town, northern Cebu last Saturday evening.
Richard Bagal Cafe died on the spot after being stabbed by Joel Bolo, the current live-in partner of Ruthelia Apas. The victim went to the area with his five-year-old son to visit Apas.
SPO1 Bryan Batiquin said Cafe, who lived in barangay Lahug, Cebu City drank with Bolo and Apas.
A confrontation ensued after Cafe asked Apas to give him another chance to resume their relationship.
He said a tanod reported the incident to them and they went to Apas’s rented home only to see that she, her son and Bolo were gone.
