SM launches The Cube

Another landmark towers over the SM Seaside City development at the South Road Properties.

This 20 meter by 20 meter cube is one of the signs of SM’s ongoing retail development in one of its biggest malls in the country.

The SM Seaside City  is expected to open on October 15 next year. It will house at least 800 retail shops and restaurants, 5 moviehouses, an Imax theater and an ice skating rink.

The Cube, however, was created to symbolize the unwavering strength and stability of Cebuanos despite calamities and difficulties. SM Prime Holdings Officials led by its executive vice president Jeffrey Lim and Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama attended the Cubes’ launching yesterday  at the SRP.
