The P1.4 billion budget of the Lapu-Lapu City government was approved on mass motion by the city council yesterday.
Mayor Paz Radaza told reporters that they allotted more budget for next year’s road projects as this is among the priority concerns of the city’s tourism industry as bad roads discourage tourists from coming to the city.
She added that the budget is for sustainable economic growth through increase investment in infrastructures, basic social services and continually improve the investment on computerization program.
