A suspected drug pusher shot and wounded a policeman during a buy-bust operation in sitio Sacred Heart, barangay Gun-ob, Lapu-Lapu City last Friday.
PO1 Raul Ruiz Jr., who pretended to be the buyer, was shot in the thigh after the suspect Jason Montebon recognized Ruiz as a cop.
Lapu-Lapu policemen cornered and arrested Montebon. Seized from the suspect were 20 plastic sachets of suspected shabu and a .9 mm pistol with 2 two bullets.
