Cebu Pacific Air (CEB), one of the country’s budget airlines, will soon fly four times a week from Cebu to Tokyo, Japan starting March next year.

In a press briefing yesterday, CEB vice president for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog said they will  be flying to Narita Airport every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday starting March 26, 2015.

This new route according to Iyog will not only add more opportunities for Cebuanos to visit Japan but also open our country to more inbound Japanese tourists.

“We hope to keep contributing to the national tourism trends by providing direct access for Japanese leisure travelers to the island of Cebu. Its strategic location in Central Philippines makes it an ideal gateway to beach and eco-adventure destinations in other parts of the country,” said Iyog.

CEB has 27 domestic and international destinations from its Cebu hub and approximately 700 weekly flights.

Iyog said they will be using brand new A320 aircrafts.
