MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit Agusan del Sur on Friday, September 16, 2022, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs detected the quake at 12:51 a.m. and traced its epicenter eight kilometers southwest of Talacogon, Agusan del Sur.
It had a depth of focus was 31 kilometers and was of tectonic origin.
Phivolcs reported no intensities.
No aftershocks and damage are expected, Phivolcs added.
