Starting Thursday, the minimum jeepney fare in Metro Manila will be P7.50, the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has announced.
From the previous standard fare of P8.50, the LTFRB issued a provisional decrease on fare rate by P1.00.
LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez said the rollback will also affect the discounted fare for students and senior citizens, reducing it to P6.00 for the first four kilometers.
