The United Church of Christ in the Philippines-Visayas Community Medical Center (UCCP-VCMC) finally inaugurated their newest building and unveiled its marker located at 85 Osmeña Boulevard last December 19.
VCMC CEO and administrator Rev. Mequias Camba, Jr. said that the multi-million project aims to serve more people in Cebu and unite God’s people regardless of one’s religious denomination. UCCP advances its healing ministry through VCMC.
Sunergia Building, which took two years of construction, is a six-storey mixed-use infrastructure that will serve both as a commercial and clinical establishment. The first to third floors of the building house various food tenants, convenience store and a pharmacy while the fourth to sixth floors are intended for diagnostic and doctors’ clinics.
Camba also said that UCCP is planning to add 16 more floors to the establishment that will house state-of-the art healthcare facilities. To accommodate more patients and closely monitor their medical conditions, a transient is also set to be constructed in the future.
UCCP has four other medical institutions located in strategic cities in the country namely in Tacloban, Ilocos, Davao and Silliman.
