In its 14th year of bringing entertaining and sensible stage plays while harnessing the talents of its students, Childlink Learning Center and Childlink High School will bring you another dance musical that will depict gender sensitivity. “Wa’y Lipstick si Nanay”, a story based on the book “No Lipstick for Mother” written by published and award-winning OMF Literature author Grace Chiong, is about a mother’s hardwork and sacrifice just to give her child a comfortable life. It is also a story that counters biases on the abilities and responsibilities of men and women when it comes to work.
The dance musical directed by the school’s directress Maria Theresa Tio will feature four original song compositions of Jundell Bacalso and will also be casted by some Childlink alumni.
Playdate will be on February 21, 10a.m. and 6p.m at the Cultural Center of University San Carlos- South Campus. Tickets are available at the Childlink campus priced at 250 pesos.
