The celebration started with street dancing at 1 p.m. and ended at the reclamation area near Casaga bridge.
The festival was intended to promote Paknaan as the makers of the “silhig lanut” or broom made of Buri tree fibers, a source of livelihood for many residents. It was held after their annual fiesta last February 7.
