First time fighting in US

This will be Suarez’s first time fighting in the United States and his first fight since March this year.

It can be recalled that Suarez wrested the four regional titles via a 12th round technical knockout against Aussie Paul Fleming in Sydney, Australia last March.

That victory catapulted Suarez’s budding boxing career into the world rankings. Suarez is currently ranked No. 7 in the IBF, No. 10 in the WBO and No. 15 in the WBC’s super featherweight division.

He has an unblemished record of 15 wins with 9 knockouts.
