A netizen captured the time a house beside the Butuanon River collapsed in Barangay Talamban, Cebu City on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

According to Tony Seno, the occupant of the two-story house that is located at the river bank near a bridge was his nephew, Christian.
But Seno said the house has been unoccupied for a week already.
Seno blamed a broken culvert below the house for the incident. He said water from the culvert ate up on the footing of the house, causing it to collapse.
Heavy rain on Wednesday meant that more water was coming out of the culvert and into the Butuanon River.
No one was reported injured in the incident.
