Velez PT Alumni, two others bag first wins in City Hoops

VELEZ PT Alumni, Lighting Basketball and Reed.Elay.Lala logged their first wins in the City Hoops Season 2 last Sunday night at the Visayan Glass Gym in barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.

After losing their opening matches, the three aforementioned teams bounced back and trounced their respective opponents.

Velez PT Alumni routed SC-SIT, 67-65; Lightning Basketball routed Robinsons Bank, 48-41; and Reed.Elay.Lala escaped Ned Nanay’s Grill, 73-70.

Neil Buot spearheaded Velez PT Alumni with 23 markers, Jude Aleta had 10 points for Lightning while Jack Labita and Sean Povadora each scored 23 for Reed.Elay.Lala.
