CEBU, Philippines—For six years now, CDN Digital’s SportsTalk has been featuring Cebuano athletes and sporting events to its viewers, sharing with the world their stories.

CDN SportsTalk is the longest running sports talk show in Cebu, which began in August 2017.

The then interactive show was aimed at giving Cebuano athletes a chance to tell their stories. It was also produced to give other sporting events a chance to be known.

Its first show, which was via Facebook  live, featured Cebuana Olympian Mary Joy Tabal.

The show slowly gained following when Cebu Daily News shifted to fully digital in 2019 as it now focused on its online platform. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed a challenge. But the show survived by shifting to Zoom streaming.

Getting the consistent engagement, the show went on to showcase several more athletes and teams via its Facebook live platform.

Among the noted guests include June Mar Fajardo,  Deanna Wong, Dondon Hontiveros

With hosts Immae Lachica and Brian Ochoa at the helm of the show, CDN SportsTalk promises to continue in its mission to provide Cebuano athletes a chance to be featured in the digital realm.
