Experience a day brimming with Filipino culture and heritage in the Coachella Valley, featuring an array of culinary delights, artistic expressions, live music, and more exciting activities.
The Coachella Valley Filipino Festival is scheduled on Oct. 8, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. As the first-ever cultural festival of this scale, this family-oriented and free event will commemorate the vibrant cultural legacy of the Filipino-American community.
Aside from Filipino food offerings and family-oriented activities, there will also be a lineup of live performances from artists such as Ruby Ibarra, DJ Nico Blitz, Junior New System, and Kayamanan ng Lahi.
Furthermore, everyone is welcome to participate and immerse themselves in Filipino martial arts with Pamana Kali and learn a dance with Mrs. Asia USA, Wendy Lindo.
Aside from fun festivities, attendees will have the chance to actively participate in educational booths, where they can discover the history and significant contributions of the Filipino-American community in Southern California.
A cultural marketplace will also be available to offer a wide selection of choices that showcase Filipino culture for everyone to explore.
To cap off the event, people can relax and enjoy festival-inspired cocktails at the open-air bar, providing an ideal chance to unwind and bask in the desert sun.
The first of its kind, this festival honors Filipino culture like never before in the Coachella Valley.
