Cebuano Bullos, 2 Pinoy fighters get beaten in One Championships

THREE Filipino Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters, including  Cebuano Cary “Prince” Bullos, succumbed to foreign opponents in last Friday night’s One Championships: Age Of Champions in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Bullos, a former URCC champion, suffered his third loss at the hands of  younger Malaysian foe Ev Ting via a second round submission.

Ting earned his ninth win with two losses.

Bullos started with guns ablaze, tagging Ting with several hard punches and kicks.

But in round two, Ting caught Bullos with a guillotine. Bullos tapped out at 1:05 mark.

It was Bullos’ second straight loss in One Championships. His debut was a loss to American Major Overall last year.

Meanwhile, Ramon Gonzalez (1-1) lost to Cambodian combatant Chan Rothana (3-1) via a first-round stoppage.

On the other hand, Team Lakay’s female fighter April Osenio (0-1) fell prey to Singaporean Kirstie Gannaway (2-0) with a rear-naked choke in the second round.
