Player profile: Justine Jules Langres of USJ-R Jaguars

Justine Jules Langres is a basketball player playing for the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars in the Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi).

He hails from Merida town in Leyte.

Langres used to play for the University of San Carlos (USC), where he took up BS in Tourism Management. He transferred to USJ-R in 2022.

The 6-foot-1 Langres says he started playing basketball at the age 13. He adds that it was his dad who got him into basketball.

Practice hard, study harder, always listen to your parents and be coachable

His ultimate goal, he said, is “to be a champion.” 

Langres looks up to NBA star LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

His message to young student/athletes is this: “Practice hard, study harder, always listen to your parents and be coachable.”
