3.3M Cebuanos expected to cast their votes in BSKE, says Comelec

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu- A total of 3.3 million Cebuanos are expected to cast their votes in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in the Province of Cebu, including the tri-cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapu-Lapu.

Based on the updated list of voters which the Comelec Cebu provincial office released on September 28, a total of 3, 384, 198 Cebuanos are expected to cast their votes in the elections scheduled on October 30.

Comelec Cebu also recorded 1, 177, 393 registered voters for the SK election, with ages ranging from 15 to 30-years-old.

Meanwhile, a total of 20, 111 polling precincts will be established to accommodate these voters.

Earlier, Lawyer Lionel Marco Castillano, acting director of Comelec’s Central Visayas office, said that the Commission is now 90 percent prepared for the BSKE 2023.
